Donald Joseph Qualls better known as his screen name DJ Qualls was born in the USA. He is an actor, producer and model. His fame was sparked by his role as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been on 20 features, such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared in 22 television shows, including Breaking Bad Supernatural scrubs lost Law & Order among others. Qualls has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14 and has been fighting it ever since. After two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The treatment began so early that it caused a serious effect on the body, and stunted his growth. When he started taking on the role of an actor, financial security was his aim. He had experienced poverty in his childhood. When I've lived in such a shabby way for a long time, I must have the financial safety. If not, the world appears beyond my reach. He reflects on his early years, and is driven by the desire to act against bullying. DJ says that "Cruelty breaks the heart of my heart." In real life and on screen, DJ would like to play a father. But he says "Directors don't cast my in the roles I'm in." One day he'd like to be a father himself when he would be able to spend more time to his work and more time with his children.
